The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, December 17 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will admit she may not be able to forgive Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Also coming up, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will scramble. Plus, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will tell Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) her grandfather’s actions could ruin his family’s business. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will ask Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) if she has feelings for Kyle.
Y&R spoilers tease Audra and Sally will discuss the article about Jabot. And Audra will be delighted by the news. “This right here sounds like karma,” she’ll say. “I love that Kyle has to sit back and watch his family’s company flounder.” However, Sally will tell her she’s kind of fixated on Kyle. “You never stop talking about him.”
Audra will say because he’s the worst. “But years ago you were sleeping with him,” she’ll reply. “Are you sure this is about revenge?” Audra will be shocked. “You think I have a thing for Kyle?” she’ll ask her bestie. “You are so off base.” Sally will say they have an enemies to lovers energy. Audra will say Kyle’s revolting. “I have no interest in Kyle.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sally Advises Audra To Bring Temperature Down
Sally will say turn the conversation into a more positive one. So, she’ll talk about bringing Audra on at Abbott Communications. But that means Audra will have to pitch to the secret investor. “It’s Jill Abbott isn’t it?” she’ll guess. And the look on Sally’s face will confirm it.
“I have my work cut out for me,” Audra will say. Sally will tell her friend she has total confidence she’ll impress the hell out of Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). But Audra will have her doubts. Sally will advise her to turn down the temperature with Claire and Kyle. “Shelve the drama, Jill will not like it.”
Meanwhile, Nikki and Jack will meet up at the GCAC and she’ll tell him it’s terrible news. “They say that Jabot is failing, is that true?” she’ll ask Jack. “Did Victor release the program?” Jack will say she should talk to her husband. “I still have no idea how he found out,” he’ll add. “I have to ask…”
Nikki will say it breaks her heart that he’d ask and she’ll say she told Victor nothing. But she’ll admit she overheard Victor and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) talking about Jabot the night before. “You could have warned me the minute Victor found out and you didn’t?” Jack will reply. “That would have changed everything.”
Jack will also ask if she has any idea where Victor’s storing the AI program. Nikki will say she has no idea. “I am prepared to fight to the bitter end,” Jack will reply. “Nikki, you better prepare, things are about to get very ugly.”
At Crimson Lights, Claire will ask Kyle if Jabot is really in trouble. He’ll say he wants to tell her but they seem to be in a better place and he doesn’t want to ruin it. Claire will realize her grandfather could be responsible for it.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Kyle Tells Claire That Victor Is To Blame
Kyle will say Victor is the most likely suspect to have destroyed Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) company. And he was going to unleash the AI it on Jabot. Claire will say it’s not fair to blame her grandfather for all of Jabot’s problems.
“Victor hates my father and he’ll do anything to bring him down,” Kyle will tell her. He’ll add it all comes back to the night Jack spent in the hotel room with Nikki. It’ll occur to Claire that their war was reignited because of Nikki’s drinking.
“Which I caused,” she’ll add. “We might not be here if I hadn’t done that.” Kyle will say he didn’t tell her this to hurt her. “There has to be some way that we can fix this,” Claire will reply. Kyle will get a message from Jack and say he has to leave.
When he arrives at the Abbott estate, Jack will ask Kyle to contact Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and ask her to get through to her mother about helping them. He’ll also ask his son to see if Claire can talk some sense into Victor.
Finally, Claire will end up at the ranch, just behind Nikki. She’ll say she just spoke to Kyle about Jabot. “Victor didn’t do this did he?” she’ll ask. “Please tell me it’s not true.” Nikki will say it is. Claire will say it’s so vindictive and unnecessary.
Nikki will tell her if Victor continues with this and Jack loses Jabot, he may lose something precious as well. She’ll tell Claire she’s always stood by Victor, but she doesn’t think she can stand by on this one. Nikki will add she’s forgiven him for so many things. Claire will ask if she’s worried she might not be able to forgive Victor for this. “That’s exactly what I’m saying,” Nikki will reply.
